Hello and welcome to day 15 of the recipe advent calendar! Today we’re taking a break from biscuits to make these brand butter truffles! If you’re not from the UK you might not have experienced the joys of brandy butter, it is exactly what it says on the tin, whipped butter flavoured with brandy and a bit of sugar, it’s usually served with Christmas pudding which it melts onto to create the most indulgent buttery mess you’ve ever seen in your life. Today we’re skipping the Christmas pud and making the brandy butter ganache, I’m making it into truffles but you can also use this as a biscuit filling, if you fancy I just needed a bit of a break from biscuits.
