Hello and welcome to day 8 of the recipe advent calendar! Today we’ve got a lovely little chocolate biscuit recipe. At one of the restaurants I used to work at, we made the most delicious chocolate crumble, it was dark, cocoa-y, and salty. I used to shovel it into my mouth with wild abandon. These biscuits are basically a log version of that crumble. They’re really delicious plain, but I like to top them with some tempered milk chocolate and cocoa nibs to make them extra chocolatey.
I’m also using this dough for the mint chocolate trees, which are coming later on in the advent calendar. So, if you want to get ahead, make a double batch of this dough and freeze half for later!
